Call me Ishmael, but tomorrow evening there is a fair chance of the Danish National football Team being defeated very very thoroughly. The reason: The real National Team and the regulatory body of Danish football cannot reach an agreement regarding the terms of employment with the players. Nobody really knows why this is so, except the situation is widely regarded as being surreal and ridiculous, and confirms my secret belief that not only is something rotten in the State of Denmark, Denmark is, in the immortal phrase of the Boomtown Rats a de facto Banana Repub(e)lic. The punch line is, that in order to avoid incurring sanctions from the international regulatory body, the Danish body sends a team of Division 2 and indoor football players to a friendly match against Slovakia tomorrow. Something very fishy seems to be going on here and quite a slap in the face to all football fans but I'm not one so I really don't care one way or either, I just used the opportunity to post something.
A couple of nice bicycle friendly days this week Mon through Thurs. Then some rain is expected. Not as much as last week though when it rained from Thurs to Sat morning.
