Folks,

Here is another link sent to me today by our esteemed Canadian pal C51. It is another indication that honoring the sacrifices of the past are deemed somewhat less important than the financial gains of the present. Please take special note of the comment by our friend and former Lanc pilot Phil Gray. I'm guessing this will bring the Lanc restoration project Phil, C51 and others have been working on for so long to a grinding, screeching halt.

Sometime the powers that be haven't a clue. IMHO insensitive actions like this come in part from parents and schools failing to impress upon their children the tremendous importance of what happened in WW1 and WW2 and what those sacrifices actually meant then and to us today. Museums such as this one are a huge help in doing just that.
