Yes, there might be hope with W10 and it shall be most interesting to see if BoB2 will run under it. With it being a free upgrade for the first year and assuming that my old box meets the system requirements I might be tempted into an upgrade, provided the reception of 10 is good. I fear it might be so advanced and filled with futuristic features like for instance a HAL persona called Cortana, and Enterprise like Holodeck capabilities, that it might just sag under its own weight and be unable to offer what we want the most; a solid no-frills gaming platform.
The BDG as I understand the situation are in enforced hiatus. Osram apparently disappeared altogether.
