Thank you for the good thoughts, JRT. So far we are supposed to get minimal effects from Harvey. Even with the backing of science weather prediction does not overpower Mother Nature. They are still saying 3-4 inches of rain here. I suggest that if the center high of the three around us weakens, the eastern high will help pull the wind and rain further North. Hope I'm wrong.
Infrastructure here is shaky in some parts with all the growth. Isolation by flooding waters can and will happen further South of me. Flooding compounds the problem by backing up sewage and most of us have no current cholera shots.
I feel for the folks that have to leave everything behind.
