Oldgrognard, "life is lived forwards but understood backwards", as my compatriot Soren Kierkegaard said. I often wish I had as a youth possessed the relative wisdom I have aquired at my age. Much might have been different. If I get the offer of another life, I will make it a condition that I will be reincarnated as a more mature soul.
