Gents,

JRT,

No Bluebirds over here, not even over the Cliffs of Dover - or Cardinals, but we continue to enjoy high summer weather with the hottest April ever recorded. As I type, we are perusing another getaway in a few days. Probably the day after the big wedding when most people will be sleeping off the mother of all hangovers. That will leave the roads clear for a dash to Anglesey again providing the weather does not break by then.

Strange how times change. Some people are all for a street party to mark the Royal Occasion while others just can't be bothered. In my younger day it would have been virtually compulsory. No, JRT, I'm not talking about the Victoria and Albert bash. Some town councils are amenable to road closures for these parties to take place while other miserable b4astards, mainly for political reasons (under the guise of health and safety) will not allow it. The latter will result in impromptu, unofficial raves which involve the police and lead to an escalation into full scale rioting. I can see it all quite clearly.
