What a grand example of both your flying and writing prowess this story is. I thoroughly enjoyed it, hands down, start to finish. Talk about "target rich". I must say that taking on 12 angry Spitfires single handed and surviving is no mean feat indeed. Galland himself on his best day might not have done as well. I'd say that you are definately quitting the Luftwaffe while you're personally ahead.
