A excellent story, fit to invigorate the most slothful of writers and galavanize him into action! The hallmark of HWH literature is exemplified therein.
Er.....Why is everyone looking this way?
We had a rare night out at the flicks last evening when we went to see; Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. Bag of Everton Mints in one hand, can of Coke in the other as Russell Crowe took the lead role and a fine rollocking swashbuckling effort it was too. A great deal of historical research has so obviously gone into the making of this film, with painstaking attention to detail, the like of which I have not often seen before.
Plenty of blood and guts to make you cringe. A few limp moments but anyway....this is the way I like 'em.
Couldn't help thinking though. No....yearning actually...for the likes of a James Mason or Stewart Granger to thrust their forceful presence into the plot.
Besides that, all in all, it's well worth seeing.
Right me hearties! Just off for a grog or two before we keel-haul a few Frenchies!
