Folks:

Greif1:

Welcome back to HWH Hall! You certainly have been missed and not forgotten. We would have tried to keep in touch with you over the years but did not have your e-mail address. Reaching you in Afghanistan might have been tricky anyway.

No one has ever done a better job of writing from the German flyer's perspective. You have not lost either your command of the English language or your writing ability.

Naturally I remembered that your Grandfather flew with the Luftwaffe during WW2 and that you had spent some years in the US, however, I was thinking you had lived for a time in neighboring South Carolina as well. Perhaps I was mistaken? Anyway it is so good to have you back.

Another successful mission and well written story. I am disappointed that you do not have any of your previous posts saved for us. Rest assured that all new offerings will be archived under your name.

As you know we don't see much snow around here. This winter has been an exception as we almost had a white Christmas and there have been several days of flurries and good dustings. Never enough for skiing, we have to drive for several hours west to our NC mountains for that. Have a great skiing weekend. \:\)

Now if only the missing Z2 and our old pal Pijlie would come home what a reunion this would be! ;\)
