We are beyond help but thanks for that sincere offer. Tell the USA team to move over and share those plane seats with the retreating England team.
As you will no doubt know by now, we went down to the heaviest World Cup defeat in our history. They say our team was made up of the best players in or English Football League but it does not follow that they make a good team as we have just witnessed. Throughout the competition they have failed to reach the standard they are supposed to be capable of and have today been well beaten by a superior German team.
Forget about the goal that wasn't. It wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome and we would have experienced something approaching a rout had it not been for James our goalkeeper. He saw four goals go past him but he was still the best of the England team. We were lucky (if that is the right word) not go down to even greater humiliation had it not been for him.
When Capello was made manager of our national side I quipped that I hoped it would not turn out to be Crap'ello. But it has.
'Find your enemy and shoot him down - everything else is unimportant.'
