Another sun drenched day to enjoy today in these parts. The temp is 48°F./ 9°C. with a 2 MPH breeze.
It is two minutes to midnight here under a bright sun. Has the midnight sun traveled this far south? Has the Earth leaned way over on its axis to get a better look at the coming Blue Moon, Super Moon and Eclipse? Nope, but it is two minutes to midnight where you are as well. Don't look out a window or adjust your clock. According to scientists who track the troubling but riveting likelihood we will soon dispose of ourselves and everything on earth along with us, it is now precisely that time.
These very serious boffins have taken another hard look at the tangled situation of world affairs, they put their heads together, shook them hard and then, a consensus agreed upon, they moved the time on the Doomsday clock to 2 minutes before the big, bad BOOM! We had better get a move on to save the Earth or get a move off to some other planet to save ourselves. Oops. Since we are the real threat, that last suggestion might not work out for us in the long run.
