Good luck on installing MA Roger, brave fellow. I think you're right in the number of patches but must confess to not remembering much about which goes where, in what order and in which compatibility mode.
I think I remember that the game should not be installed through the installer but rather by browsing to the disc and changing the compatibility of the .exe to Win98, before double-clicking it.
If you do make it back from this dangerous mission there's a gong in it for you I'm sure. just not sure which type of gong.
