C51 is a resourceful fellow. He will soon be aloft once more. Do you remember that splendid wheeze he dreamed up a few years back before SNAFU went MIA? With that characteristic humour for which he is well known, he put the rudder clamp on Snafu's Spit just before take-off. When Snafu put on full rudder to counter the usual swing nothing happened of course. The results were truly spectacular but later on in the mess, a well bandaged Snafu saw the funny side of it and we all had a good laugh while the ground crew swept up the pieces. Happy days eh? How we miss him.
