At first glance this picture look as if it was taken from a higher vantage point. This is because it is in fact a seventeen foot wingspan flying scale model of the Blenheim V actually taken at ground level. At least, I was told it flies. Note the different nose. There was a version with a .303 four gun solid nose initally called the Bisley
If flyable, I would have dearly loved to see it demonstrated at Duxford where it is currently 'hangared' alongside the re-building (yet again) of a Blenheim, this time a Mk1F. The dorsal turret of the rebuild can be seen behind the model. The previous two rebuilds of the Bolinbroke alias Blenheim IV have come to grief.
