Although a whiff of spring was reported last I posted, the met office will have none of it and insists that temps are very soon going to be dipping towards below freezing during the daytime, and 14 to -4 (Brrrrrr) during night time.
Still, we have got to see some blue skies these last few frigid days.
Another coinkidinky; I recently read a book about a wartime pilot. I've had it in my collection for some time but just recently got round to it. As I finished the book and looked up the author on the internetttywebyythingie, I learned that the author had passed away just the same week!
