Folks,

MG,Dux:

The ignominy of an ignorant Ignatsius igniting the ignoble iguana breath of an insatiable Olga would be deucedly difficult to.... ignore. Off the top of my head where my hair used to be, I'd say if you look up 'unlucky' in the dictionary you'd find a photo of our pal Iggy beside the definition.

Old Iggy is set up for a rude awakening in more ways than one for sure. Normally when the base runs a tad short of men who are terminally short sighted and or those who cannot run fast, Olga just stakes out the men's outdoor toilet at the P&P during and after a good party or boozeup. Now you say she is social networking? God help us.

It reminds me of a short story I once managed to get into print. Yes, there must have been an absolute dearth of available copy from competent writers at that particular time. Anyway the story concerned the unluckiest man in the world. He had never won anything in his life. He had bruises where people were always touching him with ten foot poles. Black cats avoided walking in front of him at all costs. In a one man sack race downhill he was sure to somehow come in second.

As a boy he was so unlucky at sports he was never willingly chosen by any sandlot or school ball team. He always ended up on which ever unlucky team chose last. When it was his turn at bat no one even bothered to pitch to him. Why bother; he couldn't have hit a bull in a phone booth with a 2x4. The luckless boy just stood by home plate and swung 3 times at nothing but air. That saved a good deal of time and rested the pitcher's arm a bit.

I'm sure that you have gotten the picture of a very unlucky dude without any further elaboration from moi. Then one day this poor man's luck suddenly and magnificently was changed. The automobile he was riding in was the first to cross the newly constructed Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. As the first to cross that bridge he had won an all expense trip around the world for life, a date with a movie star and one hundred million bucks in cold cash.

Was this man who had been so grievously unlucky his whole life beside himself with joy? Was he ecstatic with happiness at his sudden turn of fortune? Did he at the very least dance an exultant jig? No indeed. Sadly for him the vehicle he was riding in was a long, black hearse. The poor fellow had been dead for 3 full days..... wink
