Gents,

The 'ops' room reported 30 Dorniers heading for Exeter yesterday for reasons best known to themselves, so three squadrons were duly scrambled to meet them. Eventually, two squadrons turned for home but the late arriving chaps from Middle Wallop were revectored to mid-channel to carry on the attack. As has often happened, a message came through from Group about something or other and the whole formation of combatants flickered off-screen! Although the battle was curtailed, the losses were still noted later.
I have also noticed that when (in particular) groups of three squadrons are vectored onto the enemy, when arriving they sometimes fail to engage and hang about until the RTB order.
Now that the enemy are firmly committed to airfields around London I am about try a pilot career mode with 310 at Duxford and let the rest of the campaign take care of itself.

JRT,
Sorry about Pogo - but at least he experienced some loving care in his short life. frown
