At last you post a BoB story, well kinda anyway. And what an unusual story it is too. WOW! As for the politics, the protagonist reminds me of Mr. Devlin in the Michael Cane/Donald Sutherland film "The Eagle has Landed." Can he also calm a savage beast with only a whistle?
Perhaps before you wrote this you sat bareheaded on a beach under the hot sun for a long time? I wonder if as you sat there you chugged down a quart or maybe two quarts from a large pineapple filled with Alekohola, waikulu?
As I have always maintained (against your protestations), you have excellent writing and imaginative skills. Your writing style is unique and well paced. Bringing one's ancestors/relatives into a story is an unusual, interesting twist. Devilish nice pic too. These saucy graphics must be sprinkled about all over the place?
