Thank you Sir JR2 for that wonderful story. It made me realize what I am sure is true. That being there are probably an almost endless number of artifacts all over England from the Battle of Britain still laying somewhere beneath the surface.
As you know we continue to find shells, buttons rifles and many other things from our Civil War. Of course the same must be true of Britain.
I wonder if our English friends might comment on whether things turn up frequently from the battle and what kinds of things are found.
