Thanks for your supporting comments. It is an uphill battle for many teachers. They often work in sub-standard facilities, buy class materials out of their own pockets, deal with potentially dangerous situations we never dreamed of when I was in school, do combat with an unyielding and often politically inspired bureaucracy, then struggle to make ends meet or even catch sight of one another at home. I happen to have no teachers in my immediate family at the moment but there are several in my late wife's family and my son's wife's sister is a fine teacher. My hat (and much of my hair) is off to them.
