I would think so but what do I know? I'd guess that the obvious cause is a combination of changes made during the forum shutdown and the configuration of any single individual's own system and/or browser. Most people seemed to have no problems at all. I suspect that as it was for me in some way cookies is at the bottom of it all. I don't really know and it is sheer speculation on my part.
