Some of those inexpensive productions made their way to a few rather seedy art houses. One is considered a "cult" film by the Director Ivan Cult and the three people who have seen it.
Very few are aware that Olga actually made it to Hollywood where she did a stint as a stunt woman before winning a starring role in the classic horror film "The Mummy". Unfortunately the huge amount of wrappings needed to make her giant frame into a convincingly menacing mummy was far too expensive and the role was given to Karloff. A kind and sensitive man, Boris was traumatized by Olga's sorrow. So acute was his sadness that he hardly ever smiled in any of his future roles.
The same thing happened to Buster Keaton who used to smile all the time. When Olga let go of that building prop she was holding up and it fell on top of Buster she was stricken. She thought she'd killed him but mercifully he was standing where an open door was located and the building never touched him. Seeing Olga in tears seemed to sap the joy from the man and if you see one of his films notice he hardly ever smiles.
By far Olga's biggest starring role was as the Hindenburg in the 70's Simon Ward and George C. Scot film by the same name. Olga found she was allergic to the gallons of silver paint they used on her and she was forced to give up her film career and return to England. Back in the UK she recuperated quickly and attempted unsuccessfully to get more film work at Pinewood Studios. Getting up in age she almost got the role as the evil Rosa Krebs in the James Bond film "From Russia with Love". She might have gotten it too if Sean Connery wasn't quick on his feet.
On the idle hill of summer, Sleepy with the flow of streams, Far I hear the steady drummer Drumming like a noise in dreams.
Far and near and low and louder On the roads of earth go by, Dear to friends and food for powder, Soldiers marching, all to die.
East and west on fields forgotten Bleach the bones of comrades slain, Lovely lads and dead and rotten; None that go return again.
Far the calling bugles hollo, High the screaming fife replies, Gay the files of scarlet follow: Woman bore me, I will rise.
White in the moon the long road lies, The moon stands blank above; White in the moon the long road lies That leads me from my love.
Still hangs the hedge without a gust, Still, still the shadows stay: My feet upon the moonlit dust Pursue the ceaseless way.
The world is round, so travellers tell, And straight though reach the track, Trudge on, trudge on, 'twill all be well, The way will guide one back.
But ere the circle homeward hies Far, far must it remove: White in the moon the long road lies That leads me from my love.
