It is indeed too early to be calling the final results. Merc has a lot of fight left in them, and anyway they lead the constructors. Max's lead of 12 points in the drivers is not much. It's all to play for.

Of the five tracks remaining, two are traditionally good tracks for Red Bull and three for Merc. And that points toward it coming down to the final race in Abu Dhabi.

Red Bull's turbo has performed better in high altitude and thin air in the past. If that form holds I'd expect them to be strong in Brazil and Mexico. But then perhaps the advantage swaps over to Merc for the desert races to end the season. But maybe the form book should thrown out the window this season! It's all very exciting and I'm loving it.
