I’m so happy IndyCar is not as big as Formula 1. I imagine that the friendship between the Rahals and the Wilsons meant that entrants and especially engine suppliers and sponsors were able to close the deal. Although Graham will be starting at the back I almost thought I detected a sense of relief on his face. Relief to be back in the race of course but also to be in a genuinely strong car and not to have to sail that wayward RLL chassis through come Sunday.
I’ll open the weekend’s sport spectacle viewing some boxing with local fighters on a live transmission friday evening. Good old-fashioned boxing. I love it!
