Eh guys...

Well we went in and cleaned out much of the remaining work in Rampant Bear, and now another old favourite is up in Back to School. That's a particular mission where I'd like to see ground commanders at work... Less A-10 adversarial... more A-10 cooperative against an enormous foe.

I notice at least 3 groups of tanks that don't move throughout the mission- perhaps because the triggers don't occur the way they're supposed to? But if someone could get all those tanks moving... wow... what a mission for an A-10 and some KA-50s!

Anyway, just thoughts.

As for iShot... It's all well and good for a guy to fly around in circles watching F10 with nothing but mavs and winders- while guys on the offense have to fly for 20 minutes just to get close to the target AND have to keep it all on the rails. If they get shot down, they have to fly another 20 minutes while if the guy playing defensively gets shot down he just restarts and has a new plane AND doesn't have to go anywhere (except to chase down the next A-10). The broken fog of war "always on" jeopardizes the potential of the mission and as a result it's causing much undue frustration. I'm not pointing the above at anyone in particular- but that is basically what ends up happening.

If both sides do nothing but buzz defensively around their own base... the mission doesn't move forward. The point made above about the A-10 having a predominantly DEFENSIVE anti air role is valid and this A-10 vs A-10 thing is getting a bit old.

Once the fog of war is fixed and people are stumbling into one another instead of performing CAP with A-10s and the all seeing F10 eye making everyone on the map visible, and NOBODY has an advantage... nobody has access to the benefits of F10 and F5- and people actually have to keep their eyes outside of the canopy- (novel concept)my tune will change. As it stands now, however, iShot may be seeing less stage time on the Firehouse server.
