That doesn't mean I won't rock some power armor for certain missions or events I suppose. I'll be sure to have a nice set to use. But I'll rarely wear it I think. I have a mishmash of T-45 and raider pieces now, but they are stored and I have yet to try them on.
I'd say you can get by most of the time without using any power armor but there are a couple of events like "Radiation Rumble" and "Scorched Earth" where having power armor on is a HUGE benefit. Both of those events have dangerously high levels of radiation and the enemies are pretty tough.
