Oooo, Raine this is all so mysterious! I want to know what’s going to happen to poor Collins. I hope it’s a cushy job somewhere close to Thérèse. Hmm ... maybe some more night flying to add a Gotha to your collection? Oh, the anticipation is killing me!

76 confirmed kills

The difficult two-seater from two days ago has been confirmed.
Today’s mission took the Naval Eight pilots 30 miles behind enemy lines to Varsenaere airfield between Brugge and Jabbeke. They’ve been ordered to attack it. The weather was subpar with snow and rain showers mixed together. The flight attacked the field but did very little damage. Most machines came back with many holes in their wings and fuselage. They’ve been ordered to go back tomorrow and finish the job.

The connecting rod out of my brain, my brain,
From out of my arse take the camshaft,
And assemble the engine again."
