Godzilla Minus One, it was fun and better than I expected. They did a lot with a budget of only $15 million. Though, there are a couple of scenes you can really tell they didn't have a budget. It's got Godzilla doing Godzilla things, mainly picking up a bus and throwing it back down as he wades through the buildings towards the center of town. And it's frightening, he's an unstoppable force of nature and Tokyo having just been cleaned up and mostly rebuilt is a total wreck. For plot reasons, the US and Russians are busy cold warring and don't/can't get involved and the late 1940s Japanese government is in no position to do anything. So a bunch of citizens, fisherman, and IJN vets pull together to try to stop him. It's fun and well done and something I'd recommend to be watched once. Probably be forgotten about in 10 years though.
