FastCargo, I'll have to kindly disagree. I'm a realist and do not see same 'if I want it really badly, I'll get it'. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

Anyhow, I'm done with formation. Checkride went, as always, not exactly as planned. But I managed OK. I received 4 downgrades three of which were just plain stupid retardedness on my part. Excellent over all so that's good. Tomorrow I have one 'special' sim and final T-6 flight as a low level. For special sim I'll try to bring some pictures back. It involves flying ILS in T-38 at 600 knots. Should be interesting.

While flying in formation we constantly watch for 'rolling Gs'. Compared to sims that I played, I've never heard of that term before or players watching out and discussing on forums 'rolling Gs'. Rolling Gs are Gs applied while more than one axis is involved. Basically asymmetric Gs do more damage than symmetric. For example T-6 has 7Gs limit while pulling symmetric Gs and only 4.7 while asymmetric. So when pulling straight ahead and I want to turn, I would relax Gs and turn quickly and then reapply straight pull. It would be interesting to add such complexity to flight sims.
