I'm getting a kick out of how a 0 rating on Metacritic is somehow construed as indicative of being part of a smear campaign rather than an honest "I think the game sucks." I'm not going to give an incremental rating "that tank over there gets a 7, and this plane gets an 8, but I don't like the clouds, so the clouds get a 3."
I look at the final gaming experience. I if quit playing BoS in less than 10 hours and have never played it since, which I haven't, then its a 0 in my book. And I don't follow the beat of another drummer.
Everyone has their own personal view on how to rate a game.....but....the aircraft, graphics, FM, DM...all the things outside of the lack of soul.....they worked for me, and just climbing in a nice 109 and starting the engine..is worth a 2 alone..for me. 0....I mean is like the game wouldn't even load on my system. Unless they allow minus scores...like -10 and such. Does the game get any credit at all?
