Plenty of reviews? On Steam? FSX there has like 2,400. I'll bet millions of people own FSX.
Hmmm...well these stats only reflect folks that purchased FSX 2 months after BOS was released. As in...the new Steam version released December 2014.
...and now BOS numbers:
So...looks like "enthusiasts" would rather purchase or even re-purchase and older sim. The "arcade" players aren't biting and will most likely never come over to BOS/BOM in numbers when their are better and cheaper alternatives for their arcade flying fix.
I realize their will be excuses on why these stats are wrong...I suppose as long as we choose to ignore that enthusiast's is where BOS might stand a chance...this title will be sunk.

Give them a minute, I am sure you will find out why all of that is wrong, misleading, doesnt count, etc. etc.
True, BoS doesn't seem to be doing well with the simmers. And the casual gamers on Steam are abandoning BoS faster than they can sell it. But what we don't know about are the secret customers who's numbers are legion who have bought BoS and play it daily. They can't be found on the BoS MP Servers either, but they exist, really they do...really!
Do you think 1CGS would share the existence of this top secret customer base, or how they reached them through marketing that did not include Steam or similar gaming media? Of course not. But rumor has it that 1CGS is broadcasting secret radio waves around the earth that reach potential customers. Its called stealth marketing. But it can't be explained to mere mortals like us as we wouldn't understand it because only their top secret customers can receive the radio waves.
