OK, got a 2nd flight stick kit from Main PC and now have Obutto set up so that I can comfortably use throttle on left, keyboard tray in center, joystick on right, and pedals on floor. No need to move keyboard tray out the way to switch btwn office work, first person games, and flight sims. It's awesome, and (to me at least) much more comfortable than using a center mounted stick. The key is in having the throttle just low enough and angled outwards a bit so that the keyboard tray clears it leaving enough room for your hand to grip the throttle.

I now need advice though on cable management- how do you guys do it? I have a mess of cables behind my pedals, and it's both ugly and hazardous. Suggestions would be great.

Will post pics when finished- I really think that this setup option (even though it requires buying two flight sim kits) is the best one for folks who want to transition btwn first person shooters and flight sims (most especially in games like BF3 or Arma2, or even in sims where some keyboard or mouse use is helpful) without having to move any equipment.
