Hey Frank, that was something I was intending to ask you about, how you got all endings. I assume you didn't do multiple runs. So how is it done?
In the future, if anyone ever asks if I have any tips for noobs, I am going to say rune arcs last until you die!
I was watching a video of a Volcano Manor walkthrough, and the dude opened his character screen. He was level 105, but looking at his attributes I noticed he had nearly 40 points more invested. Mod? Cheat?
Then I thought about great runes. So I looked it up and discovered that rune arcs last until you die. I assumed -- wrongly it turns out -- that they would last a few minutes, like an incantation. Just using Godrick's rune, and popping a rune arc, is equivalent to a 40-level boost. Insane! That would have been useful for the past 80 hours. And I have a lot of them. Plus they can be purchased. I won't play without this semi-permanent boost the rest of the way. Of course I would not have spread those points so evenly, but it's still a very strong boost.
