i disagree NFB, if it follow safety protocols lets make this a industry and use the money to advance deep dive tech, its what the CEO of ocean was trying to do but in a sketchy way, the tourist were scam to fund his RD. they were using untested materials, it should had been tested in unmaned sub, and they should had gotten a baseline certification for the sub and the new material before starting. because a new certification on every field modification is obviously unatendable, wich is why they shouldnt had been doing tourism. its not even just the sub that was the problem it is their whole operation modus.
besides its international waters, who is going to regulate that ? the only thing you can do is ban such from your country, but someone in another country will use this oportunity to set in.
