I have sympathy for those who perished, but I have to say, the more I read about Rush and OceanGate, the bigger a self-centred risk-taker he seems to have been. The whole «safety is in the way of innovation» and building the sub out of leftover carbon fibre he got on the cheap from Boeing, and all the other things that have emerged. I mean, at a certain point you cross the line between innovation and recklessness.
