What is sad is on the 80th dive is when the delamination started, and they heard a noise, yet did not investigate and realize(or maybe they did) that the hull had been compromised.
Carbon fiber cannot be repaired at this point--the stuff must be discarded and replaced. Yet instead of doing this, they dove ten more times, with a hull that was now slowly coming apart, internally...
