I'm definitely running out of ideas, so I'll fall back to an old favourite of whether it's an antivirus not liking a changed exe (delayed reaction) or firewall software not liking the existence of network code. If 1.15.0 works then my other favourites of disk hangs, a burning cpu or memory problems probably won't be much help.
