Mine seemed to go pear-shaped after I did some manual editing of the CG config to tweak a few things like numbers of aircraft and landing distances. I have also been using the transfer and leave features periodically... (transfers on promotion and leave after injuries)
Too much fiddling at my end could be the cause, it might be best to get these things set up before starting a campaign perhaps?
