Beautiful shot and story Malibu!
Reminds me of my flight school roomate. He grew up in Bakersfield Ca on a bullriding scholarship (no kidding).
One day, while he was sitting atop Lightning...or Tornado...or whatever angry steer they had just kicked in the jimmy to make even angrier, he saw a fighter touch down at the neighboring airfield.
He looked down at the bull between his legs. Looked at the fighter. And said: "Huh, that doesn't look too hard"...
...and signed up for the Marine flight program the next day.
