What the... Half the reason I held off on the DK was their saying that the consumer version would be cheaper! I was expecting some hefty hardware specs (fairly certain I wouldn't need to spend more than ~100 dollars to be well above minimum requirements, but the price tag claim was obviously a bloody lie. I think I'll look more at other VR headsets now, not just due to the price but simply due to how dishonest they were with the customers. At this stage I'm predicting a twice as expensive CV2 in less than a year with CV1 support being discontinued.
