BaldEagle has graciously posted my new 4-mission set, called "Afghan Raiders" at his site:

http://www.zianet.com/baldeagle/

The scenario is VERY loosely based on current events. All missions are land based from a fictional base in western "India" ( I began the mission set before it was known that Pakistan would allow overflight, so in these fictional missions Pakistan is "hostile", and unlike the REAL Afghan mission you will encounter some resistance ).

The missions were built with multiplayer coop in mind, so ingresses are NOT long. They will work fine single player too.

Recommend using the excellent Rock Terrain found in the F-18 Art Manager program, makes the mountains near "Kabul" quite impressive

Enjoy!

Where's this new terrain?

I'd like to try this out.

The F-18 Art Manager program by Datajack and Fritzdog and is a must have addon utility for Janes F/A-18. It is a very slick little program that allows you to switch terrains, aircraft skins, cockpits, etc., with a couple mouse clicks, and works VERY well! Even more amazing, it's FREE!

The Art Manager comes with a bunch of skins, cockpits, terrains (including the "Rock Terrain" I mentioned) already installed, and the community is constantly adding new skins, etc. for the Art Manager.

Go to Fritzdog's F-18 Resource Center:

http://fa18.dogfighter.com/index.htm

Once there, go to the Utilities/HOTAS page, and download the Art Manager program and it's patch, follow the instructions and install it, and you will find the "Rock Terrain" as one of the custom terrain mods found in the program.

Again, this is a terrific utility, and is a "must have" if you enjoy JF-18

Enjoy!
