Hi, I was devastated to learn that Matt 'Wags' Wagner passed away on 09/07/2026 after dealing with cancer. I see that there's a post about it in the DCS Forums here, but wanted to post something in a more general topic for those that might know him from Jane's F/A-18.
It was an honor and a privilege getting to work with him, and he was a good friend.

I learned to start the Warthog looking at Wags videos, and who knows how many other planes. He didn't know I existed yet he reached out halfway around the world and touched me. The power of hobbies and passion. He was into flight sims as a pro ever since I started playing flight sims as a youngster; he worked for SSI in the old Flaker days. I still have a Flaker 2.0 disk here somewhere. ~S!~ Wags
