homepage Forums Air Combat & Civil Aviation Air Combat Maneuvers & Tactics Bombfragment travel of the BLU-107?

Does anyone know the bombfragment travel and the time of flight of the fragments of the BLU-107 (Durandal) :?:

Wanna know the spacing between aircraft for an attack on an airbase with two runways :!:

If you cannot find any other data, use this rule of thumb:

Separate flights by either time (30 seconds) or by distance (3000 ft between weapon impact points) or by altitude (minimum altitude 3000 ft over weapon detonation point).

Thx,

I couldn't find any data, so I go with that!!

Andy sounds like a MK82 Frag envelope

Close! It's just easy-to-remember gouge that can be used with most ordnance and typical fusing.
