when I was doing mechanic work I learned some locksmithing tricks. We had slim-jims to open car doors except ones with electric locks. Even some of those can be jimmied if they have mechanical parts exposed.
I won't be buying a sentry safe anytime soon. Like most security stuff it only defeats honest folks.

Any safe that can be moved out of your house is pretty much useless IMO. Even if they can't get into it, it's not like you're getting it or the contents back.

Of course, the idea for most people isn't so much a safe that's theft-proof as fireproof. In case of a fire, it's nice to know some important papers etc might survive.
