Here are a few screenshots of a FSX P-51 repaint that I made. The real "Live Bait" P-51 Mustang was restored in 2010 by Midwest Aero Restorations, Danville, Illinois, and won the Reserve Grand Champion award at Oskosh 2010. It dons the paint scheme of the P-51D assigned to Capt. Clayton Gross of the 354th Fighter Squadron in WWII. Although these repaint screenshots can't live up to the beauty of the real plane, I hope it's still enjoyable to see this version of 'Live Bait' P-51 Mustang simulated in FSX. For any interest in the original story behind the name "Live Bait", the P-51 Mustang Ace tells us first hand on You Tube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWfAd7KZoks and many more. It's great stuff. Don't miss the one about meeting the Me262 pilot he shot down.
