Are the gauges representative of the target distance to missile in the pitch (Y axis) and yaw (X-axis), or is it front and rear [lateral] (Z-axis) and one of the other axiss? At the Volhov, while the missile is flying, you can see the K1, K2 commands transmitted by the SNR, by selecting the KI, KII, KIII (for the three missile channel) between the instruments. If you select hI, hII, hIII you can see the calculated miss distance (for the three missile channel), where the left instrument is for elevation, the right is for azimuth. (one small tick is 40m, max indicated miss is 2000m) If you press the button between the instruments, it will add 10x magnification, so one small tick is 4m, max indicated miss is 200. You can also observe the K4, and the K3 commands above the instruments.

Hi, This profile loaded very impresive videos about trials with an upgraded C-125... Looks very impresive, outstanding video against ground target and against "OSA" missile!

Yes, sure... As I remember, the first "Neva" missile flown so close to F-117 that the plane was shaked from the airwaves, and second one kills him. This is not happened, in reality there were only 1 missile guiding. There is an serbian movie "21-st second", it is documentary about 1999, with Zoltan Dani, his family etc... In one of the scenes, Zoltan Dani's son shows to his father interview with the pilot of the stelt : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOCHjOxR2SQThe guy claims for 2 missiles.... Just to stop spreading rumors... ... F117 was detected on the P18. It was tracked with the SNR (Karat was not used that time), two missiles were launched with T/T guidance method, and one killed it. After the missiles were launched, the target started a gentle climb, with a moderate left turn. (this action did not influenced the missile guidance) There were no jamming. The only trick is at the Neva SIM documentation, where it states the Neva detection range against a MiG21. Dear Hpasp, just want to clear the picture - one or salvo of missiles? And what about the movie, did you have a look on it?

Hi, I was thinking about after action reports... How about including of the value of the "Parameter" in the informaton like: 54:01, V-755 20DSU Missile launched on Channel-1 Target distance: 90km Target azimuth: 258 Target elevation: 15 Target altitude: 23,9km Target parameter: xx.xkm SNR mode: LORO - 150km Missile guidance method: I87V/TT (I87V Three Point) Fuse method: Standart And including the uppermentioned data in the impact point, like: 55:05, Missile exploded on Channel-1 SR-71 Habu hit by SAM. (miss distance: 122m) Target distance: 42km Target azimuth: 315 Target elevation: 31 Target altitude: 24,1km Target parameter: xx.xkm

Now many micro seconds is open the receiver in 75 km mode? I can't figure it out how this (150km) bigger repetition period helps against clutters....
The same amount of clutter is visible in both cases. The difference is that in 75km mode, a clutter at 100km is overlay a clutter at 25km, also the SDC cannot filter it over 75km.

In MY opinion, Zoltan Dani's battery launched two missiles in salvo (T/T guidance method), from the Simanovci ex-Dvina site. Only one missile was guiding, the other not reached " ZAHVAT" state, and went ballistic (missile internal failure, or the SNR over rotated it). That one guiding missile downed the Stealth. A second movie is in the making, and I assume that this will be cleared out than. I do not keep the Sorcerer's Stone, so it is only MY humble opinion.

As I read again your posts about that case, I fugure it out you're right - 2 missiles, 1 guidance, no controversity... Thank you for your patience... I have a question about the version of SA-2 in the Sim... How much is the maximum epsilon angle for the SNR and for the launchers? I find for the older version (C-75M), that for the launcher (SM-90) fire angle (epsilon) is between 10.0 and 75,0 and less than 10.0 is in "Zapret" zone (for 360.0 azimuth and from 10.0 to 45.0 epsilon when in the azimuth is the SNR... Can't find parameters for epsilon for the SNR, can someone help?

The maximum elevation of the SNR (for missile firing) is 60 degree. [against balloons it is 75 degree]
Maximum elevation for target tracking is 80 degree.

I've noticed that when I am tracking target with parameter near 0 km, (usually when hunting for "Habu" in over Hanoi), SNR and launchers reaches almmost 90 degrees, and still can launch a missile. The light "Sinhron PU" is lit all the time. I think that it should lit off when launcher hit 75 degree, and when SNR hit 60 degrees angle we shouldn't be able to make "Pusk"... Am I correct?

The English documentation of the SA-75M Dvina (SA-2F) system is finished. Currently its translation into Hungarian/Japanese/Russian is ongoing.

Wonder, what distance the PB 5X49 reaches 50% chance... ... keep in mind, that the MiG-17 has comparatively low RCS.
