WoP will include also land combat with people being able to use tanks and ships, how cool is that ?

This games seems to shape as a full fledged WW 2 sim

i will be very suprised (pleasently though ) if they managed to pull it of with any real fidelity, and at the same time deliver a top notch sim,
i am thinking it will end up more like an updated BF1942. we shall see!

I fear the 50 caliber machine gun will be as usual under modeled. They were the definitive tiger tank killer of ww 2 as I am sure you all know.

I can just hear the screams of the crew begging for mercy as the 50 cal round bites deep into the 120mm armour

Be interesting if they pull this off, others have tried but none have really succeeded, I find it hard to believe they will be able to model the griound and air objects with any fidelity in the year or two before release, like Trumps said it sounds more like it's going to be a battlefield type game, I think even their own blurb describes it as that.

They are already working 2 years on this game.

Yeah, I was taking it as you would fly an il2 and do some strafing missions or fly and HE 110 to bomb an Allied convoy in the Atlantic, not to actually be a Panzerm�nner or be a gunner on battleship.
