CLIFF LEE is returning to the Phillies for millions less than whatthe Yankees offered him.Accepted $100,000,000 over a five year contract, tens of millions less than the Yankee offer.
Phillies appear to have a line up of aces:
Cliff Lee
Roy Halladay
Roy Oswalt
Cole Hamels
Sadly, they lost the great Jason Werth to free agency.

I've lost my faith in humanity. When people refuse to be bought, there's definitely something going tragically wrong with the world. They're the NY Yankees for cryin' out loud! Who wouldn't want to play for the winningest team in baseball history? Not to mention the fact that they have a longstanding tradition which entitles them to the best players that money can buy. Stephanie, with that rotation, the Phils could run out a lineup like this and still win 108 games:
CF: Eugene
2B: PanzerMeyer
LF: Sauron
3B: Cofield's kid
1B: fatty (appropriate name for 1b)
RF: Blade RJ (do they even play baseball in Rio? No matter, because only 2 runs a game needed)
SS: Jimmy Rollins (don't ask me why we need him...he wouldn't go away)
C: Airdrop (I'm good with the tools of ignorance and I want to catch these guys)
P: Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Oswalt, any random bum, or Joe Blanton or Kyle Kendrick.

They may win 108 games, but if they don't win the 4 that matter at the end who cares? The Braves had a better rotation for the entirety of the 1990's and only won one World Series. So pitching can't win em all.

Well of course there are no guarantees but they're probably 2-1 which is freaking awesome....especially since schmucks like me have los Royals with maybe a 500-1 shot....
I must say I think the Phils rotation as is is hands down better than the Braves and probably better than any ever...69 Mets 86 Mets 93 or 98 Braves 30s Monarchs etc

LF: Sauron Ha! I used to be not only a superb fielder, but could slam it over the fence almost at will, at least in the military after work leagues. If I could see, I'd still be a contender, at least in the over 50 leagues, LOL! The Phillies wish they could sign me! Cheers! Rick...
