Lupita Nyong'o in it as Helen Of Troy, Zendaya is also in it as Athena and that annoying tool Robert Pattinson is in it as Antinous.
Of course where there is Zendaya, there is her boyfriend Tom Holland. He is the only reason she went from a nobody doing music videos to high profile movie roles in 2.0 seconds.
So those are 4 reasons I have already lost interest in this movie, I can't stand any of them.
Zendaya is evidence that in Hollywood, even after Weinstein, it's still who you shag and not who you know to get roles.
Nothing has changed.
It's still going on.
The only difference between Weinstein and all the other producers and directors and actors who are still doing it to "help" new hopeful actresses and actors make it BIG, is Weinstein got caught.
I generally enjoy a Nolan movie (exceptions being superhero movies, I really don't enjoy them) but I'm not getting a good vibe from the trailer. Trailers can be misleading but still.

In English literature class and reading books like Shakespeare, we were taught that every legend and story told over time were based on truths and facts.
Just like you tell a story of catching a fish and each time you retell that story and each time a friend or family member or relative of yours who retells that story for you, the size of the fish becomes more and more exaggerated but it doesn't change the fact nor the truth that you did catch that fish and that fish did exist.
In English literature class and reading books like Shakespeare, we were taught that every legend and story told over time were based on truths and facts.
I would say that it's more likely you were taught that old stories can contain truths, without being actually true. F.E. it's true that making robust preparations for extreme weather will eventually pay off for you when others suffer, but that doesn't mean Noah built a huge boat to house 2 of every creature.

So when will you be seeing it? Are you seeing it alone or with your sisters?

I’ll wait for the reviews. If they are favorable I’ll catch it on whatever streaming service it will eventually go on.

I saw the Film Threat Out-Of-Theater reaction video, and the primary feeling they had was that it was boring and too long. They said that the characters that got all the press for their questionable casting were little more than cameos, so it didn't really seem to matter. They also said that the dialog and performances seemed too modern and not in the same tone as what you would normally expect from a historical epic.

Box office projection for this week opening weekend is $200+ million domestic and foreign
If that projection turns out to be right then Christopher Nolan is a freak of nature; a genius beyond comprehension.

I’m not a believer in the notion that everything that happens in a movie needs to be explained. Leaving some things open ended for the interpretation of the viewer is a good thing.
