I think Chucky got the P-40, Bud. He gifted me the Macchi. Generous move! I thanked him in a PM, but I'll do again publicly (Just so no one is thinking that I am an ungrateful cad!). Thanks once again, Dave. I can see why the Italians didn't win the war!

Other than relatively small caliber guns, I find the Macchi quite good at dog fighting. It takes a while to get the feel for her, but once confidence builds in her
she can be a bit of an annoyance to almost any of the Russian planes. It is refreshing to fly her just for the change of pace and the challenge of eekking
out everything she has to really put up a fight with
her adversaries.
